Mike Docwra & Sofia Luczyc-Wyhowska are two highly experienced artists who specialise in fine woodcarving, turning & colour artistry, such as gilding & paint effects.

Mike has employed his skills as a classical woodcarver/ sculptor for 15 years. He is an accomplished artist, draughtsman & designer who is highly disciplined in his field & has the ability & knowledge to work with an extensive range of different woods.

Sofia has a particular talent for surface decoration; she has employed her skills for the last seven years as an interior decorator. She specialises in faux marbling, faux bois (fake wood) & gilding.

Both artists worked for a number of years as antique furniture restorers & hence have an educated attitude towards design, combined with an innovative flare.

They live & work on the Isle of Mull, Argyll & their inspiration derives from the natural surroundings of such a picturesque island & also from items of 17th/18th century furniture & decoration.

Their individual talents complement one another to bring you a completely unique style of handproduced british giftware.
